Spent a little time doing some book research (a list of books that might be interesting to obtain over time):
- A Plain and Easy Introduction to the Harpsichord by Ruth Nurmi
- Harpsichord Method: for Harpsichord or Spinet by Maria Boxall
- L’Art De Toucher Le Clavecin. The Art of Playing the Harpsichord by Francois Couperin
- A Guide to the Harpsichord by Ann Bond
- Playing the Harpsichord by Howard Schott
- Three Centuries of Harpsichord Making by Frank Hubbard
- A History of the Harpsichord by Edward Kottick
- Ruckers: A Harpsichord and Virginal Building Tradition by Grant O’Brien
OK, so I’ve actually purchased all of them at this point, except the Nurmi book. I do enjoy books very much and having a harpsichord library is helpful for historical reference and context.
