Ernie posted part 28 of his series, stringing the instrument and installing the jacks. He uses delrin jacks that he gets from the Instrument Workshop.
Today I found for free online “L’Art de toucher le clavecin” by François Couperin (aka Couperin le Grand, 1668-1733). There is just so much information available if you take the time to look for it. The fact that it is written in French poses a bit of a problem. L’Art de toucher is translated as The Art of Playing the Harpsichord. Luckily I also discovered that you can buy a bilingual edition.
I finally finished formatting and laying out “The Harpsichord Project” electronic book of Ernie Miller’s online building project. I created the disc and the cover art for Ernie’s book project and finally mailed it to him.
